Our Beers


Gweilo Pilsner is a refreshingly modern take on a classic style. A late addition of Hallertau gives a unique floral and fruity aroma. This works in harmony with the pilsner malt base and crispness from the yeast, creating a vibrant, crushable beer.  ABV 4.2% IBU 25


Gweilo Wit is our take on a traditional Belgian wit beer. A low bitterness allows the banana, clove and spice notes from the yeast to take centre stage. This light and refreshing wit beer is ideal in hot weather. ABV 4.2% IBU 11

Pale Ale

Gweilo Pale Ale is a light, citrusy pale ale. We use Cascade to create an intense tropical fruit aroma. This is followed by a crisp, refreshing bitterness which doesn’t linger, resulting in an extremely drinkable pale ale. ABV 4.5% IBU 38

Session IPA

Gweilo Session IPA is perfect for the heat of Hong Kong. It is intensely dry hopped with Mosaic, creating a bold nose of melon, citrus and pine. This is nicely balanced by a malty backbone, delivering an IPA punching well above its weight. ABV 4.8% IBU 50

American IPA

Gweilo American IPA is a tropical hop bomb. We use an insane amount of Simcoe, Chinook and Eureka to create a juicy, citrus explosion. The pale malt base of this IPA allows the hops to steal the limelight and fire up your taste buds. ABV 6.0% IBU 60


Gweilo Stout is decadently rich and full bodied whilst remaining sessionable at 5.5%. The unique blend of malts delivers a coffee and chocolate profile with notes of almond. This compliments the creaminess from the oats, producing a deeply satisfying stout. ABV 5.5% IBU 35

Gutsy Guava IPA

Gutsy Guava IPA was our first fruit beer. The pink guava with its fresh, fruity sweetness is complimented by Simcoe, Mosaic and Denali. This magic combination delivers a burst of tropical flavours. ABV 6.5% IBU 65

Blazon IPA

Blazon IPA showcases two classic hop varieties. A large dose of Citra delivers an immense aroma of grapefruit and lime. This combined with the orange, lemon and peach notes from a large measure of Amarillo, creates a juicy, lip smacking tropical hop bomb.  ABV 6.0% IBU 60

Blooming Cherry Saison

Blooming Cherry Saison is a light, thirst quenching saison. The fruit and spice notes from the saison yeast work in harmony with the sweet and sour notes from the cherry. Combined with a slightly higher level of carbonation, this saison is an extremely well-balanced yet lively and refreshing beer.  ABV 4.6% IBU 15

Gweilo x Kagua Yuzu Hazy IPA

Brewed with our friends at Kagua to mark our launch in Japan, this is our first ever collaboration brew and it is a very special one. With a Denali, Amarillo and Citra base, we’ve also pumped this baby full of yuzu smuggled into Hong Kong by our friends at Kagua. The result is a tropical, juicy explosion of pineapple and yuzu. ABV 6.0% IBU 60

Gweilo x Potato Head Tropical Pilsner

Crafted with our friends at Potato Head, Tropical Pilsner will have you kicking back in no time. Our crisp pilsen malt base showcases the explosion of citrus, melon and papaya hop notes. The tropical fruit flavours and dry finish deliver a hit of refreshment and are the perfect partner for Indonesian cuisine. ABV 4.2% IBU 25

Nebulous DDH NEIPA

Nebulous is our first ever NEIPA. We loaded it with Amarillo and Citra, followed by a secondary dry hop of Citra cryo, to create a tropical juice bomb. A relatively low bitterness accentuates the explosion of pineapple and citrus. ABV 4.9% IBU 25

Gweilo x Magic Rock Solitaire NEIIPA

Brewed with our friends at Magic Rock, Solitaire is a seriously juicy Double NEIPA. No expense has been spared on this bad boy with a huge dry hop of Galaxy, Aloha, Citra Cryo, El Dorado and Denali. These are carried by the base of pale malt, wheat and oats to create a super rich, tropical hop bomb. Gently roll the can before opening and drink it fresh to ensure maximum juiciness.  ABV 8.5% IBU 35

Crescendo DDH Pale Ale

Crescendo DDH Pale is the double dry hopped big brother of Gweilo Pale Ale. Building on an initial dry hop of Mosaic and Cascade, we've blasted this baby with a secondary dry hop using Mosaic Cryo powder, creating a seriously intense citrus and pine aroma. This, combined with a crisp bitterness that doesn’t linger, creates an insanely aromatic and sessionable hop bomb.    ABV 4.5% IBU 38

Mythoclast Ekuanot Pilsner

Mythoclast Ekuanot Pils proves there is more to craft beer than just IPAs. The crispness from our German pilsner yeast combined with the aroma of melon, lime and papaya from a blast of Ekuanot in the hop cannon, make this an insanely refreshing, fruity and crushable tipple.   ABV 4.1% IBU 25

Astrobleme Calypso Pilsner

Astrobleme Calypso Pils is a pilsner with a difference. The earthiness from our pilsner malt base works in harmony with the pear, stone fruit and melon notes from a dry hop of Calypso. Together, these create a unique aromatic experience which is harnessed to perfection by our crisp German yeast.     ABV 4.1% IBU 25

Berrylicious Saison

Berrylicious Saison is a crazy 1000L Batch beer. We mixed 650L of saison with 350kg of Blackberry, Raspberry and Boysenberry in a 1000L tank and let them uncontrollably ferment. The result is a super tart, refreshing, berry explosion. The deep purple colour is a sight to behold and the intense berry flavour makes you question whether this is a beer, a wine or a boozy smoothie! But really, who cares? Just enjoy!    ABV 6.0% IBU 15

Minerva Stout

Minerva Stout marries the bitter chocolate flavour of the raw cacao with the sweet, rich aroma from the abundance of vanilla pods we loaded into our 1000L tank. The result is an enticing stout with the nose of an imperial, but the body and approachability of an everyday brew that keeps you coming back for more.    ABV 5.0% IBU 35

Berry Witty

Berry Witty is the refined offspring of our super tart, in your face, Berrylicious Saison. Instead of emptying the fermenter after we kegged Berrylicious, we pumped 800L of Gweilo Wit in and let nature run its course for a few weeks. The result is a super fruity, well balanced and elegantly sessionable wit.  ABV 4.6% IBU 11

Sensorium Stout

Sensorium Stout is infused with raw cacao nibs and a hint of coconut. These two flavours work in harmony with the chocolate and coffee notes from the malt base to create a decadently flavoured stout with a tempting aroma. The 5.5% ABV keeps this stout both approachable and sessionable, resulting in a dark beer perfect for the tropics. ABV 5.0% IBU 35

Gweilo x JIA Champagne Pilsner

This is a refined twist on an otherwise humble beer, matching perfectly with JIA’s culinary ethos. A blend of German Pilsner and Champagne yeast creates an extra dry, avante-garde Pilsner. This works in harmony with the floral aroma to create an elegant yet approachable beer.  
ABV 4.2% IBU 25
